Some snap shots.

Here are a handful of photos from my short visit back to Fort William.

140+ Kids!

Jesus Number One.

Love these ladies.

The Holiday Club Team.

The MacRae Clan + Me.

This photo was taken on my last night before people started leaving. It's your classic self-timer photo, and I'm so glad we took it because I love it.

Holiday Club was fantastic. God is doing such a wonderful work there, and I am honored to have been a part of it for a while. Please be in prayer as decisions are made regarding my future in Fort William. I'll keep you posted.

Yanks should know how to line dance...

Clearly, because I'm American, I should:

1. Own a cowboy hat.
2. Own cowboy boots.
3. Know how to line dance well enough to teach 40 leaders and 150 Scottish children to do it.

False, false, and false.

But. I love being here with these people, even when I'm told, "You're a yank. Yanks should know how to line dance." So, I'm trying to learn to line dance well enough to help teach it, and teaching Scottish people to properly pronouncing "y'all." Is there a proper way?

(All of these things are for Kilmallie's Holiday Club. It's Wild West themed.)

I love Fort William. The End.

6 Days, Summit, and Disney World.

I have been going non-stop. No, really. I came home from Scotland and had 6-ish days before I left for Summit. During that time, I went to Lawrenceville for debrief at MTW, saw Katie, Baxter, Chris, and Rachael, and didn't sleep nearly enough.

I headed to Staff training at Summit. It was w wonderful time of bonding and learning. The students arrived 4 days later, and it was a blast. I LOVED my small group. Worship was fantastic, working in the office was great, and the sessions were wonderful. I really enjoyed my time there, and would love to do it again next summer. I definitely believe I began friendships that will continue to grow.

I came home from Summit, unpacked, did laundry, and repacked for family vacation to Disney World! It was so. much. fun. I enjoyed the time with my family, especially not having seen my grandparents since way before I left for Scotland. It was fun to be at Disney without any kids in strollers, and to be old enough that Mom and Dad left the three of us at the parks on our own. (Crazy, I know.)

I have photos of all of these things, and will post them eventually. As for right now, I need to go do laundry and repack for Scotland... I fly out Tuesday. Ridiculous.

Bonny Scotland.

The Caledonian Canal on my morning run.

The bridge in the first Harry Potter movie that you see when they are on their way to Hogwarts.

My flights were long, but seeing this made them very worth it.

Fort William is beaufitul. When it isn't covered in fog, I can see Ben Nevis from the window behind the computer.

I have loved the time I've had here so far. Everyone has been very welcoming, and I'm excited to get to know the congregation better. Tonight I will be leading a small group for the high school age girls on Esther. There will be coffee and tea, and hopefully lots of laughs and discussion.

Thank you for your prayers!
