Summer.

I've been all over the place this summer. Letting you see it is much more entertaining than trying to write about it.

Lots of skype with him.

Sitting at this desk for the first half of the summer.

Family beach time.

One Direction live. Not kidding.

Coldplay live. Fantastic.

Lots of eating these.

Getting to know these girls at Summit.

And loving every minute.

Reunited with these two. So good.

Working alongside these wonderful people.

Some more beach time and finishing the Hunger Games series.

This sunset.

This summer has been so good. Hard, but good. Lots of learning. Lots of time spent with people. Lots of God gently reminding me that His grace is so much bigger than I know, and is more than enough for me.

Scotland Update- 75% and Holiday Club

Guys. I am at 75% of my total support!

Here's the breakdown:

50 people giving $25/month.
25 people giving $50/month.
12 people giving $100/month + 1 person giving $50/month.

If 25 people pledge $50/month, I CAN MOVE TO SCOTLAND!

Would you consider praying about becoming a part of my monthly financial support team?

Holiday Club
A year ago, I was in Fort William working alongside wonderful members of Kilmallie Free Church to put on their annual holiday club.

The Kids

Holiday Club crew

Holiday Club is happening this week!  There are about 150 kids attending this year.  It's an awesome opportunity for seeds to be planted and for God to be working in the lives of these children. Please be in prayer for the leaders as they work to minister to the kids in Fort William. With 150 kids, they definitely have their hands full! Please be praying that the hearts of the children attending Holiday Club will be open to the Gospel.

My goal was to be in Fort William by the time Holiday Club started, but God's timing was not my timing.  I am resting in the knowledge that His timing is perfect, and that he will provide what I need when it's time for me to go. Please continue praying that the money will be provided and that my heart will be prepared to go and serve!

Thank you all so much for your prayers and support!

Scotland Update- How to Give

In the past couple of days, I've had multiple people ask how they can give to my ministry in Scotland.  It's a little tricky to find me once you get to MTW's website. So. In case you were wondering how to give, here are some detailed instructions.

FOR ONE TIME DONATIONS:

Under where is says Give Online, there are a bunch of picture of credit cards and an orange link that says click here to go to our donations site.

It will give you a log in option or a create an account option. At the very bottom of the box, there will be a link that says make a one time donation without creating an account. It will be easiest to just do that for a one-time thing.

Then it will take you to a page that says add a designation. Type in Emily Morris. My name should come up. If it doesn't, my account number is 14597.

FOR MONTHLY DONATIONS:

ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER: If you are interested in giving online on a monthly basis, go to the same website.  In the middle of the page, there will be an orange tab that says EFT. This stands for Electronic Funds Transfer.  It will take money directly from your account on the same day each month.  It will give you a form to fill out and mail in to MTW.

OR.

CREATE AN ACCOUNT:

Under where is says Give Online, there are a bunch of picture of credit cards and an orange link that says click here to go to our donations site.

It will give you a log in option or a create an account option.  Create an account by entering your email address and some other information (like your address and credit card number.) It can be saved so it will be easily accessible for you to come back and give every month.

I hope this is helpful!  Thank you all so much for your prayers and support!

Scotland Update- My heart and 63%.

Have you ever loved a place and the people there so much that it makes your heart ache?  That's pretty much how I feel every. single. day.

"My heart’s in the Highlands, my heart is not here;
My heart’s in the Highlands a-chasing the deer;
A-chasing the wild-deer, and following the roe,
My heart’s in the Highlands wherever I go."
-Robert Burns

The countdown is on.  School starts in Fort William on August 15th, and I want to be there.  I am currently at 63% of my TOTAL support.

Here's the breakdown:

70 people giving $25/month
35 people giving $50/month
17 people giving $100/month + 1 giving $50/month
8 people giving $200/month + 1 giving $100/month + 1 giving $50/month

Basically, I still need a lot.  God has graciously provided 63% in just 4 months.  I fully believe he can provide this last 37% in a month and a half.

How you can pray:

For me:
- That 100% of my funds will come in by August.
- God has done so much to prepare my heart to leave Chattanooga and my friends and family. Please continue praying that when it is time to go, I will be totally ready.
- Part of God's preparation has been teaching me to trust and giving me more patience than I've ever had before (which was never a whole lot.)  Please pray that I continue to trust in his provision and perfect timing.

For Kilmallie:
- Pray for the students at the church.  Most of them are attending Free Church camps or vacationing this month.  Please pray that God will continue to work in their hearts and keep them safe.
- Pray for the building project, that it will continue going smoothly.  Go here to see pictures!
- Pray for the MTW interns that are there through the end of July.  Pray that God will continue to use them and that doors will be opened through their ministry to further his Gospel.
- Pray for Kiki and Anna MacRae as they continue to minister to the congregation of Kilmallie Free Church and to make connections with people throughout Fort William.

I'll leave you with this little gem that was taken on the last night of small group last June.

I can't wait to get back to these girls!

Scotland Update- 50%!

I'm officially at 50%!!!

Clearly, I still have a ways to go. I have learned more in the past few months about trusting in the Lord's timing and his provision than I ever have before. It's one of those good hard things: really difficult while you're in the middle of it, but wonderful looking back and seeing what God has done.

I need to be to Scotland by August.  Ministry wise, I would love to be there to start getting to know students before school starts.  Logistics wise, for visa reasons, I HAVE to be in the UK by August 25th or else I'll need to reapply and things will get complicated.

So. Being at 50%, Here's what I need:

80 people giving $25/month
40 people giving $50/month
20 people giving $100/month
10 people giving $200/month

Please pray:

For me:
-That I will get to 100% and be able to leave by August!
-That God will continue to prepare me to go and serve.
-I am speaking in a Sunday School class at Independent Presbyterian Church in Savannah, Georgia this weekend.  Please pray that it goes well!

For Kilmallie:
-There is an MTW team of four college girls there now. Pray that God will use them to make contacts and further his work in Fort William.
-Youth Club will be happening at some point this summer.  Pray that students will come, and that they will continue to attend Logos Youth Fellowship throughout the year.
-The MTW team will be leading small groups for the girls this summer. Pray that the girls will learn and have a desire to deepen their relationships with the Lord.
-Please pray that the Gospel will be made clear, and that students in Fort William will come to know Christ as their Savior.
-For the church building project to be fully funded and continue going smoothly.  Below is a photo of the progress as of June 7th.

Thank you for reading, and for praying!
