April Scotland Update

As of today, I have 30% of my support raised!

It has been so humbling to be able to check my support and watch the numbers go up on a daily basis. I am so grateful for your prayers and support! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I received an email a few weeks ago from Anna MacRae about going to a school assembly to do their Easter Cracked program.  This was an awesome opportunity for the Gospel to be clearly presented to the children and teachers in the school.  She said that of 22 kids, only 2 of them had ever read the Bible.  Having grown up in the south in the middle of the Bible belt, this blows my mind.  If someone had asked my public elementary school class if any of them had read the Bible, at least half of them would have responded with yes.  God is working in Fort William, but Kilmallie needs more help!

Please keep praying!

For Kilmallie:
-The church building project.  They are moving forward, but still have a ways to go! (See more about this in the March Scotland Update)
-Logos Youth Fellowship.  They will begin including Primary 7 (the equivalent to 6th grade in America) soon and are hoping to be able to gain some more regular attenders.
-Pray that God will continue providing opportunities for the MacRaes to go into schools and talk about the Gospel.
-Thankful that the Easter service went well and was encouraging!
For Me:
-I have 70% to raise in 42 days!  Please pray that this money will come in!
-The goal is still June 1st.  Pray that I will continue trusting that God's timing in his provision is perfect.

On a personal note, Fiona, the woman that I lived with last summer, got married in March!  Some MTW people went and visited Fort William, and brought this back for me!

I'm so excited for she and John.  If either of you happen to read this, I hope that you are enjoying married life!  Can't wait to come and see you guys!

I was so glad that Barbara and Opal from MTW were able to go visit, and meet these people that I love!  This picture made my heart so glad that God is connecting people all over the world to team up and do his work.

Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK, is located in Fort William.  (It's actually in the background of the photo above.)  This time lapse video was done in December of 2010.  It is absolutely beautiful, and after you watch it, you might want to think about making plans to come visit me.
