Packing.

From this...

To this...
To this.

I'm ready. And so excited. Scotland, here I come!

Good thing.

Good thing I bake when I'm anxious.

My family appreciates it.

Pre-flight jitters.

On Tuesday, I will get on an airplane that looks like this.

I will fly across the ocean (eek!) and land here.

I will meet Chris and Anna MacRae, from Kilmallie Free Church, and they will take me here.

Fort William. Where I will live and serve for the month of June.

I. can't. wait.

Is this real life?

Let me just tell you about some of this past week. In bullet form, of course.

Wednesday
-Wake up at 8:06, hit the snooze button.
-Wake up at 8:27 completely disoriented, thinking, "Wow. Someone's alarm is really loud." In comes Sarah. "To Catacombs! Tornado warning!"
-Spend the rest of Wednesday studying, spending time with people, and sitting on the floor on Catacombs to avoid tornados.
-Running around a dark campus after the last tornado. Standing on the overlook, seeing what is a usually lit up Chattanooga half dark from the loss of power. Having thick clouds above our heads, with lightening so bright bouncing between them that it fills the sky with light.

Thursday
-Class canceled. Clearly God gave us our reading days back. Awesome.
-Realizing the devastation that occurred in Ringgold, Chattanooga, and all over the south.
-Trying to study, and it not happening.
-All hall meeting. We have to be evacuated by 3 pm Friday. The semester is over.
-Pack stuff up. Take it home. Moe's for dinner.
-Star gazing with my wonderful friends. The sky was so incredibly clear, and the stars were more visible than I've ever seen on the mountain.
-Gilmore Girls and making a love bed (pushing all three of our beds together so we make one big one) with the roommates, + Lyss and Caroline.

Friday
-Missed the Royal Wedding.
-Broke down. Twice.
-Packed everything I owned.
-Cleaned as best I could.
-Enjoyed time with my roommates and friends.
-Came home and brought girls.

The rest of the weekend was spent enjoying time with people. Girls were in and out, and some of us headed to Atlanta to spend Sunday afternoon with Caleb and Josiah. It was a hard few days. I wasn't ready to leave. I didn't say goodbye to half the people that I wanted to. Having my best friends stay with me for three days was wonderful. I'll see the Royal Wedding on Thursday with Blythe and Miss Pam, and I don't have to take exams.

God knows what he's doing.
